If you haven’t played either game before, the original Subnautica might be a better place to start. If you were a fan of the first game, Subnautica Below Zero is more of the same, but with some pretty fantastic additions that make it its own game. This game is a large expansion of the concepts of the first game, but now with more concern about hyperthermia as you explore a tundra planet.
#WILL THERE BE ANOTHER SUBNAUTICA GAME SERIES#
Subnautica Below Zero is out now on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC. They are each so similar to one another that hopefully it will not take longer than a year before the game makes its way over to Xbox’s popular game streaming service. That being said, because Subnautica made it, Below Zero has a decent chance of finding its way onto Game Pass. If you’re waiting for Below Zero to arrive on the subscription service, you may have to wait for a while, as there is no news on when or if it’ll launch on the service. I guess we will have to wait to see what Unknown Worlds Entertainment will say in the future. With now having completed both games, now I wonder: will there be another Subnautica I really really really hope so, I would be sad to hear if there wasn't going to be another (. That is fairly standard for most on-release games, allowing developers to make some direct money from the product before handing it over to Game Pass. Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero were AMAZING I loved both games, they are the best games that I have ever played. The 2018 sci-fi survival game Subnautica is brilliant, and the 2021 followup, Subnautica: Below Zero, is a worthy successor both games were also significant commercial successes. While the previous game in the series is available on the service, it seems that the sequel has not made its way there quite yet. Right now, no, Subnautica Below Zero is not on the Xbox Game Pass. So the question remains is Subnautica Below Zero going to be on the Xbox Game Pass? Will Subnautica Below Zero Be On Xbox Game Pass? That being said, the original game is one of the best reasons to get Xbox Game Pass. It seems that the ocean is going to be just one of the biomes for you to explore in this title, and that means that there might be even more to do than ever before. I want to sleep tonight. The absolutely chilling sequel to Subnautica, Subnautica Below Zero, has just released to the masses. I'll not be watching it again, if you don't mind. Here's one of the previous trailers for that, if you want a reminder of the upcoming space horror game from a team that includes the Dead Space creator Glen Schofield. Krafton and Striking Distance Studios will also be sharing a new look at The Callisto Protocol at that same Opening Night Live. Unknown Worlds had previously been on the lookout for a senior narrative developer, following the announcement that they would be purchased by Krafton but retain their creative independence. It is a new chapter in the Subnautica universe, and is developed by Unknown Worlds. What exactly? That I couldn't tell you, but it's apparently a turn-based game and an entirely new IP.Īccording to a press release, "Unknown Worlds co-founder and game director, Charlie Cleveland, will officially reveal a new IP set in a sci-fi world that features imaginative turn-based gameplay." It'll be shown during Opening Night Live, the grand slam of advertisements that marks the beginning of Gamescom under Geoff Keighley's watchful eye on August 23rd. Below Zero is an underwater adventure game set on an alien ocean world. Unknown Worlds, the creators of Subnautica, and Krafton, the studio behind PUBG, have announced that they'll be showing something at Gamescom later this month.
